Responsible for creating concept designs for characters and environments using traditional methods and turning them into 3D models using Maya. The models were further refined in Zbrush and then textured and lit in their environment.

Hi my name is Matt Keenan and welcome to my Blog. I have my masters degree in 3-D modeling from the Academy of Art University of San Francisco . During my education I learned from some great professionals in the industry, including Tareq Mirza and Thomas Mead. From their teachings I have learned the skills necessary to recreate my artistic visions into clean tactile models that can be used for games or animated films. I especially enjoy creating hard surfaced based models and environments. As a modeler I don't believe there is only one right way to model and as a result I often find myself switching between Poly and Nurbs modeling. This has helped me to become very proficient in both fields and I enjoy working with both techniques.
